Weekend Adventure in the Great Outdoors

Natchez Trace State Park

Natchez Trace State Park Cabin #1

Hello friends,

My husband and I were really needing to get away for a couple of days. We needed some time to worship, time to pray, and time to plan. It seems like when you are at home there are always distractions that interfere. If I am at home I am always thinking about all the things that need to be done. Can you relate??

We both LOVE the outdoors, especially the woods so we decided to try out one of the state parks in our area. We went to Natchez Trace State Park. We rented a one-bedroom cabin with a fireplace. It was just what we needed.

I can't explain it, but something is uplifting about being in the outdoors and taking in all God's beauty. It is good for the soul! It clears your mind and is inspiring.

I surprised Kyle with a little treat for supper. As you can see we had a delicious meal. You know, with us, it is all about the food! We had steak, shrimp, potatoes, and Caesar salad.

Steak, Shrimp, and potato hit the spot!

All in all, it was a great weekend. We were able to get so much accomplished and our souls were refreshed. Thank You, Jesus and thank you, Natchez Trace State Park.

Lord bless you, Michelle.
