Hello There!

I’m Michelle and I am so thrilled to share this time in my life with you!

Cook It for 2 perfectly reflects where I am in life right now. Cooking has always been a passion of mine, from my earliest memories of tinkering with an Easy Bake Oven to crafting meals for my family throughout high school. Over the years, I've honed my skills in various settings, from restaurants to home kitchens, and even teaching alongside a pastry chef. Cooking isn't just a hobby or job for me—it's an integral part of who I am. It's a source of relaxation and fulfillment, and above all, a way to spread love to those around me.

The idea of Cook It for 2 traces back to my son, Jayd, one of my biggest supporters and advocates. For years before he passed away he urged me to share my culinary creations through videos, even encouraging me to audition for Food Network Star.

I was at a place in my life where I was struggling between two directions. It's incredible how The Lord works, as, during a period of reflection and prayer with my husband, Kyle, The Lord brought forth these cherished memories of my son’s encouragements. At that moment, clarity dawned, and I knew exactly what path to take.

Here at Cook It for 2, you will learn how to comfort your hurts, soothe your soul, and celebrate your good times just by sharing your table with the one you love, even if it is just two of you!

If you are like me and you find yourself and your circumstances have changed, no worries! You don't have to quit cooking and surrender to a life of eating out or eating dull and boring foods. Cooking for two can still be just as fun and engaging! Together, we'll explore delicious recipes, delve into essential cooking techniques, review must-have kitchen gadgets, and exchange invaluable tips and tricks to elevate your cooking game.

So, join me on this adventure as we cook, laugh, and savor every moment together. Stay tuned, because at Cook It for 2, there's always something wonderful simmering on the stove!

Lord Bless You,
Michelle
