What a beautiful sight!

Hello There!

I don’t know if you have noticed, but I have fallen in love with sourdough. I made a starter for the first time and have been consumed with it ever since! So, be careful if you haven’t ever tried it. You might end up like me…try it once and you are hooked for life!!

I LOVE that there are so many things you can do with it. One of my favorites is sandwich bread. It has become a staple in our house. I can’t tell you the last time I bought bread in the store.

Before I get much farther into my blog post I wanted to be sure and mention Lisa at farmhouseonboone.com. She has helped me so much in my sourdough journey. I was a little intimidated to even try making it until I watched some of her videos. She is the sourdough queen in my book. The base of this recipe is hers. She has so many good recipes to try. She has 8 children and cooks for a family of 10!! If you haven’t been to her blog, I highly suggest that you visit!
