Heartfelt Breakfast Delight: Sourdough Heart-Shaped Pancakes for Two

Sourdough Heart Shaped Pancakes

Hello There!

Today, I am bringing a lot of love to your breakfast table with my latest creation- Sourdough Heart-Shaped Pancakes for 2.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and it is a great reminder to show the ones you love just how much by treating them to a plate full of heart-shaped goodness. These pancakes are not just delicious; they're a whole experience, crafted with care and a dash of love.

I love using sourdough to make these because the sourdough adds that extra bit of fluffiness and a hint of tanginess that will make your taste buds do a happy dance. Trust me; it's a game-changer.

I decided to take things up a notch and served these heart-shaped delights on a charming charcuterie board. The vibrant berries and a generous sprinkle of powdered sugar turned this breakfast into a visual feast. Remember, we eat with our eyes first!! It's not just about the taste; it's about creating a special moment.

Making these pancakes is a breeze. The batter comes together with just a few ingredients, and the heart-shaped muffin griddle and cookie cutters add that adorable touch.

Cooking Up Love:

  1. Mix up your sourdough pancake batter.

  2. Heat your griddle or pan

  3. Pour the batter into heart-shaped molds for that extra charm.

  4. Flip and cook until golden brown.

To make a lovely display of all the goodness, arrange your heart-shaped pancakes on a delightful charcuterie board or a pretty serving platter. Surround them with a burst of colorful berries and don't forget that snowfall of powdered sugar. It's not just breakfast; it's a piece of edible art. Get creative!

Fire up the griddle, make those pancakes, and let's make breakfast a heartwarming treat! Enjoy and happy cooking!
