Guilt-Free Goodness: Homemade Hazelnut Chocolate Spread

Hello There!

I have great news! If you love chocolate and sweetness but you are trying to make healthier choices, I have the perfect solution! Most everyone loves Nutella and there is a reason for it…it is DELICIOUS! Who doesn’t love a creamy, sweet, and chocolaty spread? So, we will take the bad stuff out and add the good stuff and it will be even more delicious! What a great sweet treat for 2!

Nutella is a beloved chocolate hazelnut spread that has been enjoyed by many for years. It CAN be a delicious guilt-free spread that is perfect for adding to toast, pancakes, waffles, and fruit for a sweet treat, or even eating it out of the jar. However, Nutella can be high in sugar and saturated fat, which is not ideal for those looking for a healthier option. The good news is that there are healthier versions of Nutella that you can make at home. By making your own Nutella, you can control the ingredients and make it healthier by using natural sweeteners, whole nuts, and unsweetened cocoa powder. In my video, I will show you just how easy it is to make your own version.

One way to make a healthy version of Nutella is to use roasted hazelnuts. Hazelnuts are a great source of fiber, protein, and healthy fats, making them an excellent addition to any diet. They are also packed with essential vitamins and minerals, including vitamin E, magnesium, and potassium.

Another way to make a healthy Nutella is to use natural sweeteners like maple syrup or honey instead of refined sugar. These sweeteners add a natural sweetness without the harmful effects of processed sugar. Plus, they contain antioxidants and minerals that are good for your health. If you are trying to stay away from sugar altogether, you can use a natural calorie-free sweetener like stevia.

Adding unsweetened cocoa powder will give your Nutella that chocolatey flavor you love without adding sugar. Unsweetened cocoa powder is rich in antioxidants and has been linked to numerous health benefits, including improved heart health and brain function.

Making a healthy version of Nutella is easy and delicious. Using whole nuts, natural sweeteners, and unsweetened cocoa powder will create a spread that's both nutritious and satisfying. So why not give it a try and enjoy the taste of Nutella without the guilt? Happy spreading!
